I visited Heyward Allen today for the first time. I was greeted by the very kind receptionist holding the door open for me when I arrived. She immediately started looking for a sales agent for me and apologized it was taking longer than expected. All the agents were working with customers. The wait was worth it. As soon as available Luke came to introduce himself and asked how he could help. I told him I was there to look at 2 trucks listed on the website. He went to get the keys to them but one still wasn’t quite ready for the lot. He showed us the available Colorado and let me drive it. He was very friendly, easy to talk to, and most importantly he was not pushing us to buy the truck!! After going to many other dealerships and dealing with pushy sales people I was very appreciative he didn’t try to push me to buy the truck or try to upsell me to something I couldn’t afford. Needless to say he won my business and I’m a proud owner of a new, used 2020 Chevy Colorado! I’m also impressed with the gentleman, Sean who helped us with the Financial aspect of the sale. We told him what we had for a down payment and about how much we needed the monthly payments to be. He made it happen with no back and forth negotiation which was very pleasant. Thank you Luke and Sean!!
Adam was friendly and professional. He was helpful and patient to answer all our questions. The experience was a much more pleasant and expediatied compared to past experiences at other dealerships.
My purchase was somewhat unusual because my truck that I was trading in broke down seven hours away. I was able to work out details of my purchase on the phone with Adam and Chris at Heyward Allen. The next day I made the trip to Athens with a friend dropping me off at Heyward Allen GMC and my new Yukon Xl Denali was ready and waiting for me. These guys provided outstanding customer service in a very unusual and stressful situation. They arranged to have my trade picked up and brought to Athens.
We had been car shopping for almost 4 months when we stopped at Heyward Allen Cadillac GMC in Athens Georgia. Got out to look at a vehicle and a salesperson came over immediately to help us. It was an hour before closing time and rain clouds were moving in. The salesperson, Marcus Guess, walked back and forth getting keys to a couple vehicles we were interested in. Marcus was very patient and informative. We test drove our Acadia, it was raining by then! Kept Marcus til closing time and told him we’d sleep on it. The next day we bought that Acadia and absolutely love it! Everyone at Heyward Allen was polite, patient and attentive. From the receptionist to the sales manager to the financing manager. Especially our salesperson Marcus! Definitely recommend Heyward Allen!

We got the car we wanted for the price we wanted but the customer service was not good. Me & my son drove 3 hours to get to the dealership only to be rushed and treated like an unwanted guest. I was told by sales rep Ken that they closed at 12:00pm. Only to find out once I arrived that they didn't close until 5:00 p.m. They rushed us through everything and seemed annoyed when we asked question or didn't move fast enough. Thank God we didn't have to finance through them. Honestly If my son didn't want this car. I would have walked and spent our money somewhere else were they appreciated our business.

BE CAREFUL OF THIS ONE. Terrible experience with misinformation at every step to get you to overpay. 1) Quoted me a higher list price (~$2K, but still noticeable) on a car to get me to drive there. 2) Told me that they would remove an unnecessary package (~$1.8K) on the car, then added it back in when it came time to pay and the manager wouldn't get rid of it. 3) Lied about what the car was selling for in the area (quoting ~$10K-25K higher than the real amount) to make me feel like I was getting a good deal. 4) Had an agreement to test drive the car the following weekend, then finish the financing forms. Put a $500 deposit down. Was then asked the next day to come in & sign the forms (without test driving!!!) or they'd sell the car to someone else. Guessing they knew I'd figure out they were quoting me a bad price on it. 5) Didn't issue the $500 deposit refund until I called the following week asking for it. Just a bunch of lies and tactics to bully you into a bad deal. Go somewhere else.
Would never buy a car from these guys again. They are a bunch of crooks. Wife bought a used Acura MDX from them, has only had it 5 months and the keyless entry controller went out and was causing the battery to drain, alarm to come on randomly, etc. Due to them not doing a software update, when the car prompted them to. And they told my wife we only fully inspect our brand products, not the others. When my wife asked what they were going to do to fix the issue, as the part is on national back order per Acura in Athens. And the service department at Acura said if they had done the update before this happened, it wouldn’t have happened. She found a Ford Explorer limited on their lot she liked and was trying to get them to do a straight trade no money down, basically transfer everything from the Acura to the Ford, and the manager told her they could do it but she would have to put 5k down and have rollover from the Acura. DON’T BLOODY THINK SO! This is their fault.
